Dr. Charles H. Dean DDS
Dr. Dean received a Bachelor of Science degree from Wright State University in 1977. He then attended The Ohio State University College of Dentistry, receiving his doctorate in 1980.
Upon graduation from Dental College he entered the United States Air Force. Dr. Dean enjoyed the additional training and the travel opportunities as a U.S.A.F Dental Officer so much that he made this a career choice. He retired from the U.S.A.F. in 2001 and started a private practice of family and cosmetic dentistry in Beavercreek, Ohio which is an eastern suburb of Dayton, Ohio.
Dr. Dean is a member of the American Dental Association, Ohio Dental Association, and the Dayton Dental Society. He also stays on top of the latest techniques and information by attending continuing education classes and seminars on a regular basis.
Dr. Dean's office has the newest technology and equipment that will enhance the patients' care which is evident when being greeted at this state of the art office.
When not treating patients, Dr. Dean enjoys spending time with his wife Deborah, family, and friends. He also enjoys traveling, golfing and watching Ohio State football and basketball games.
Dr. Melissa Banks DDS
We are very excited to introduce Dr. Melissa Banks as an associate with Dr. Dean and our staff at Beavercreek Family and Cosmetic Dentistry.
Dr. Banks grew up locally in Springboro and then attended The Ohio State University where she obtained her Baccalaureate Degree in the Science of Dental Hygiene. Upon completion of her Bachelor's degree she was immediately accepted into Dental School at The Ohio State University. An impressive accomplishment was that Dr. Banks was able to work part-time as a dental hygienist while being able to manage the firmidable time demands of dental school. Dr. Banks graduated Cum Laude in 2011 and received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree.
Following graduation, Dr. Banks returned to the Dayton area to continue her clinical training by completing a General Practice Residency program at Miami Valley Hospital. The residency program allowed Dr. Banks to gain experience with more advanced and up-to-date dental procedures.
Dr. Banks and her husband, Devon, currently reside in Springboro. They are the proud parents to a Boxer puppy named Jack. When not practicing dentistry, Dr. Banks enjoys playing golf, running, reading and traveling. Fall is her favorite season because of Buckeye football. She will always be a Buckeye at heart!
